Dies for granulators

Filtec’s dies both for underwater and water ring systems are obtained from a single piece of metal; this allows to reach a better bending strength, compared to dies assembled and welded in several parts.

Hole positioning from which the plastic material is extruded is characterized by particular geometry, such as to enable it to last over time.

Technical information

You can opt for dies with diathermal oil heating or electric resistance systems. Our dies are obtained by a single piece of metal (base steel) of different types and possible surface treatments.

Drilling is performed according to a specially designed hole positioning, with hole diameter varying from 0.7 to 4 mm approximately.

Thanks to its construction features, the surface itself can be ground many times before a die is utterly replaced.
